A Gem Shop is a store which buys and sells the five varieties of common crystals (green, blue, red, orange, and purple), as well as other gemstones like diamonds and rubies. They also tend to sell Mining Axes and Silver Necklaces, whose purpose are as yet unknown.

Rodolpho's Fabulous Jewellery and Crystal Boutique is the Gem Shop in Andris, located in the prestigious eastern ward of the city, just outside the keep. The proprietor, Rodolpho, has often had to deal with interruptions in crystal shipments as a result of brigand attacks, which have disrupted the business from time to time. The most significant instance of this was in the Fighting Moon of Year 444, when the shop was forced to close.
This also tends to happen more often as the Blue Moon Festival approaches, with the increase in commerce usually leading to an increase in attacks.
The Queen's Ruby[]
The Queen's Ruby is the Gem Shop in Lerilin, and the current proprietor is Siomir. It is located on the eastern side of the village. It might just be the highest-volume gem store in Oberin, given the region's proximity to the Ant Hill and all the crystal-gathering Forager Ants within. Many aspiring young adventures have gotten their start by hunting the ant's territory, and selling the crystals at The Queen's Ruby.
The Family Jewels[]
The Gem Shop of Marali is called The Family Jewels, and is located by the northeastern gate of the city, besides the stable. The current proprietor is Diamonique. The Family Jewels is widely known as the most reliable gem store in Oberin, as they always carry all five varieties of the common crystal, regardless of stock rotation. So well-regarded is the store, that some adventurers will only carry Purple Pure Crystals in their pure crystal collection, as they know they can get whichever crystal they need in Marali.

Gemologist at Large, the Gem Shop of Mirith, is located to the north of the bank. The proprietor's name is Dvarin.
