Crystal Rings are alluring yet non-enchanted rings that are sometimes found in chests in a wide variety of dungeons in Oberin. They can be worn, but are not known to provide any magical benefit. They are not to be confused with the much more expensive Pure Crystal Rings.
In the Ice Dungeon, there are many chests that are known to contain Crystal Rings. These chests are generally located in the auxiliary rooms, such as the Goo Room, the Beast Room, the Draco Nursery, the Golem Cross, and the Maze. In the Ant Cave, there is one easy-to-reach chest that can hold a Crystal Ring, but the chances of finding one there are extremely rare. An earlier chest in Aborek is also known to have a Crystal Ring, but again with very low odds. Crystal Rings may be found more commonly in the Lich Center of Skull Island Dungeon, but this is quite a difficult area requiring a skilled adventuring team. And then in the Tower, in the dormitories where ants are known to swarm, there is said to be another.
One can give a Crystal Ring to Diamonique at the Gem Shop in Marali for 500 experience points. Alternatively, if one is lucky enough to find the Traveling Hunter Nal, they can give her a ring in exchange for 11 Dragon Teeth. Nal seems to value these rings the most out of the four common rings, moreso than platinum, gold, and silver.
