Cooking

Cooking is the skill associated with making food. Successes are gained by successfully cooking Food.
When eaten, Food keeps your character full, or at least not starving. Starvation is not fatal, but prevents your character from counting successes to improve skills. Note that it is possible to survive on a diet of only one kind of food. One way to stay fed is to buy Trout from shops (or go Fishing) and make Fish Steaks. If your Cooking has reached level 2, you can also cook the Raw Steaks dropped by various monsters, including the weak Giant Rats, Sheep as well as the Forager Ants found near Lerilin.
